During this time of the year (a period I refer to as the mad dash till Christmas break), it is sometimes nice to take a break from the craziness and have a good laugh. Wilson's Quarterly provided just the ticket with an article called "A History of the Past: Life Reeked with Joy" by Anders Henriksson. Prof. Henriksson shares some the the "best" essays he's received from college students over the years. Enjoy.
I try to use recycled paper to do much of the Christmas decorating for the Media Center. This Origami-Kids website has lots of great Christmas origami project ideas and they have easy to follow instructional videos for many projects.
