Brainstorm 113: Suggested Sailing Routes

As promised, here are some suggested sailing routes for the summer reading challenge I posted in the last Brainstorm (see Brainstorm 112). This may have been one of the hardest Brainstorms to put together. Not only is it the end of the school year (craziness!) but some of these areas of the world are either: 1) really hard to find books in English for, or 2) so hard to choose just a few to put here because there are dozens and dozens of favorites (I'm looking at you East Asia, North America, UK, and Imaginary Worlds). There are hundreds of thousands of great books missing from this list. Please comment with your favorite reads from around the world to share great ideas with fellow summer readers. Have a fantastic time voyaging around the world this summer whether it be from the comfort of your favorite reading spot or on an actual boat!
